HapiLots and his friends can’t prevent anyone from falling ill or having to go into hospital and they can’t magic pain away either, but they can help children feel less alone and distract them from yearning for home between visiting hours.
Everybody experiences a little anxiety when going into hospital, not least children.
It’s not always possible for them to understand exactly why they are there and what is going to happen. Even when they do understand, they still tend to worry and can feel withdrawn and homesick.
Afterall, HapiLots’ knows that laughter is the best kind of medicine.

Characters
A hospital needs a lot of clever and dedicated people to make it work, but we don’t meet everyone. Many people do a vital job and are rarely seen; they clean the hospital at night when we are asleep and bring in supplies so that the doctors and nurses have what they need to help their patients and to feed them too!
